Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about this service

The minimum qualifying salary for EP is S$5,600/month for most sectors, and S$6,200/month for the financial services sector. Older and more experienced candidates will need higher salaries. All EP applications are also subject to the COMPASS points-based framework.

Standard EP applications are typically processed within 3 weeks. However, some applications may take up to 8 weeks if additional checks are required. We recommend applying at least 2-3 months before the intended start date.

COMPASS (Complementarity Assessment Framework) is a points-based system for EP applications. It evaluates applications on four foundational criteria: salary, qualifications, diversity, and support for local employment. Applicants need to score at least 40 points to pass.

EP holders earning at least S$6,000/month can apply for Dependant's Pass for their spouse and children. Those earning S$12,000/month or more can also sponsor their parents on a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP).

If rejected, you can appeal within 3 months with additional supporting documents or revised terms. We analyze the rejection reason, strengthen the application, and resubmit strategically. Our experience with MOM's criteria helps maximize approval chances on appeal.
